Upon arriving at the scene with the Cedar Rapids Fire Department and Area Ambulance, crews located a 2019 Ford F-150 and a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban K1500 just north of the exit for 7th Street Northeast on Interstate 380. Fatal Auto Accidents in Michigan

Every year, more than 800 people lose their lives as a result of motor vehicle accidents in the state of Michigan. These accidents often leave families devastated. Learning that a loved one lost their life is always a very emotional time. Knowing that your loved one died as a result of another person’s actions just makes accepting the situation even more challenging. In many cases, these accidents are preventable. In fact, over 80% of accidents are a result of drivers who are texting, speeding, impaired, or acting negligently on roadways. Drivers who engage in reckless behaviors or act carelessly while operating their vehicles continue to put the lives of other motorists at risk.
