Bloomfield Township, MI (December 24, 2020) – An automobile accident reported on Tuesday morning sent two people to local hospitals with injuries. At around 8 a.m., on December 22, emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash on Telephone Road.
Reports from authorities show that an 87-year-old woman was driving a Toyota Camry north on Telegraph Road when her vehicle collided with a southbound Ford Escape near the entrance for the Plaza shopping center.
The impact of the crash caused the Camry to continue forward and drive through the shopping plaza before crashing into Andiamo Restaurant.
The drivers of both vehicles were injured in the accident. The two victims were transported to a local hospital for medical assistance. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
